This is the Bunyip. I created this cryptid creature / monster art for Fairytales and Myths.
The Bunyip is a legendary animal said to inhabit small rivers, watering holes, and swamps in southeast Australia.
Like the Bigfoot, this creature art was also done early on during the project. Looking back at it now, I wish I could redo it since it doesn’t mesh with the art style that I developed later on in the project. Still, I did meet my personal goal of making it appear as if the creature is blending in with the swamp.
