This is the Beast of Gevaudan. I created this cryptid creature / monster art for Fairytales and Myths.
The Beast of Gevaudan was a fierce carnivorous beast that killed people in France in the 1700s.
I especially enjoyed creating this artwork due to the historical significance of the creature. I based this art on a real-life statue that is in France.
