This is Bessie. I created this cryptid creature / monster art for Fairytales and Myths.
Similar to Nessie, Bessie is said to have dwelt in Lake Erie for centuries.
Until I began this art project, I honestly did not realize how many serpentine creatures like the Loch Ness Monster had been spotted all over the world. The challenge was creating an interesting take on each creature since they’re basically the same thing in a different environment.
